Pollution degree

The degree of oil contamination refers to the content of solid particulate contaminants per unit volume of oil. For other contaminants, such as water and air, water and air content are used. At present, it mainly uses the following two methods:

First, the quality pollution degree, that is, the quality of the solid particle contamination degree in the unit recommended oil, generally expressed in mg/L;

Two It is the particle contamination degree, that is, the particle size of various sizes contained in the oil per unit volume, and the particle size range is expressed by the interval, such as 5-15 um, 15-25 um or > 5 um, > 15 um, and the like.

ISO The 4406 International Standard for Oil Contamination uses two numbers to indicate the degree of contamination of the oil. The previous number indicates the number of particles larger than 5um in 1mL of oil. The latter number indicates the number of particles in the 1mL oil that is larger than 15um. The two numbers are separated by a slash.

Example: Pollution degree grade 18/13 means that the number of particles larger than 5um in the oil is 18, the number of particles per milliliter is between 1300-2500; the number of particles larger than 15um is 13 and the number of particles without milliliter is 40- Between 80.Note: The following table ISO4406 pollution level table
